Travelogue

  • Staying in Beijing CBD creates a sense of neighborhood, and the service details of this hotel are too revealing

This time I came to Beijing Guomao to participate in an industry exhibition and specifically chose Atour X Hotel Beijing CBD International Trade Bridge. I thought that most hotels in the core business district only focus on location and light service, but after three days of stay, every detail from check-in to check-out can feel the warmth of service, which is not a rigid standardized reception.
I arrived at the hotel during the evening rush hour after the exhibition, dragging two large boxes of materials at the door. The doorman greeted me from a distance and took the heavy suitcase, delivering it all the way to the front desk. When checking in, I casually mentioned that I was a bit out of sleep the day before when I stayed up all night organizing documents. The front desk staff didn't make a sound and quietly upgraded me to a quiet room type in the high area. They also specially gave me an extra pair of soundproof earplugs to remind me that the floor is close to the inside and I can hardly hear the sound of traffic outside, so I can rest assured.
Half an hour after checking in, the cleaning lady knocked on the door to deliver the welcome fruit platter. She saw a pile of exhibition materials lying on my desk and took the initiative to help me organize them into my file bag without asking much. She also neatly arranged the charging cable on the desk, afraid of disturbing my work. She put down her things and gently brought them to the door. At night, I was searching for information in the 24-hour library until around 10 o'clock. As I passed by the lobby, the front desk staff noticed that I was holding a cold cup of coffee in my hand. Before I could speak, they took the initiative to hand me a freshly brewed hot American style coffee, saying that when I came back, I would be holding this cup, which should have been cold, and that reheating it would be comfortable to drink.
What surprised me most were two small things: the next day I had to catch up with an important meeting in the morning shift, and when I went out, I casually mentioned that I was afraid of not having breakfast. The front desk immediately packed a portable breakfast bag for me, which contained steamed buns, hot soybean milk and boiled eggs, and a small packet of mints, so I was afraid that my breath would not be fresh when I was in the meeting; I found some stains on my formal shirt before leaving the room. When I took it to the laundry room, it was almost noon. I thought I wouldn't be able to catch the high-speed train this afternoon, but the hotel ironing master cleaned it up in half an hour, folded it neatly and delivered it to my room without any wrinkles.
The hotel's robot service is also very considerate, whether it's delivering takeout or delivering the mineral water and toiletries I need temporarily, the response speed is particularly fast, never making me wait at the door for a long time. On the day of check-out, the front desk learned that I was going to Guomao Station to take the subway. They were afraid that I would get tired of carrying my suitcase, so they directly called the hotel shuttle bus for me and took me to the subway station for free. They even calculated the waiting time for the bus for me.
In the Beijing CBD, where every inch of land is precious, many hotels focus on decoration and location. However, Atour X Hotel Beijing CBD International Trade Bridge has engraved the warmth of service into every detail, without any deliberate formalities, all from the perspective of guests' thoughtful consideration. Next time I come to Guomao, I will definitely choose this place again. The experience of being taken care of properly is more unforgettable than just luxurious facilities.Show more

  • Find a quiet business travel destination amidst the hustle and bustle in the core area of Beijing CBD

I stayed at the Beijing International Trade Center for three days to connect with the project. I chose Atour X Hotel Beijing CBD International Trade Bridge, which I originally booked for a location close to the commercial district. However, after staying there, the experience far exceeded my expectations, making it the most satisfactory accommodation choice for my recent business trip in Beijing.
It takes less than 10 minutes to walk from Guomao subway station to the hotel, and along the way are familiar office buildings in the CBD. Walking back to the hotel after the evening rush hour, even the wind on the road carries a sense of relaxation. As soon as I entered the lobby, there was no crowded noise commonly seen in CBD commercial areas. The warm toned lights were wrapped in a faint fragrance, and the front desk staff handed me a cup of warm tea. Just as the cold wind blew through from outside, my body instantly warmed up.
I am staying in a deluxe king size room, which is not particularly large in size, but every space is well utilized. Yaduo's iconic deep sleep mattress is indeed worthy of its reputation. The day before, I had a full 6-hour meeting with the team, and after lying down for a while, the tightness all over my body dissipated. The bathroom has a complete separation of dry and wet areas, and the experience of the smart toilet is very good. The hot water comes out in seconds, and when I come back from overtime at night to take a hot shower, even exhaustion can be washed away by the water flow. The soundproofing of the room was particularly surprising. Even though it was located on the north side of Tonghui River, there was almost no sound of traffic outside after closing the window. The hotel also thoughtfully prepared earplugs, so even people with shallow sleep could sleep soundly.
The hotel's facilities fully meet the needs of business travelers: the gym and laundry room on the basement floor are open all day, and you can also take a half-hour run during business trips. The formal clothes you change into can be dried and ironed directly, and you can wear them clean and refreshing to meet customers the next day. The 24-hour library on the first floor of Zhuju is perfect for relaxation. In the evening when there is no work arranged, you can borrow a book and sit in the small courtyard by the window, flipping through a few pages with the aroma of coffee, completely forgetting that you are still in Beijing's busiest core business district. The choice of breakfast exceeded expectations. There were not only traditional Chinese and Western meals, but also the old Beijing Zhajiangmian specially prepared. Even boiled shrimps, which are rare hard dishes in hotels at the same price, can be eaten. The price of 48 yuan per person is very cost-effective.
The most reassuring thing is its geographical location: just a 700 meter walk from Guomao subway station, and only two or three kilometers from SKP and Heshenghui. Whether it's going to an office building for a meeting or wanting to hang out with friends in the business district for dinner after work, travel is particularly convenient. You don't have to go downstairs to pick up the takeout. The robot will be delivered to the door of the room directly. When you rush to the plan late at night, you want to order a bowl of hot Congee, which saves you even the time to go downstairs and wait for the elevator.
I used to think that accommodation in Beijing CBD was either outrageously expensive or noisy and crowded. However, after staying at Atour X Hotel Beijing CBD International Trade Bridge this time, I realized that in the busiest core area of the city, you can also find a convenient and comfortable place to stay. Next time I come on a business trip to Beijing Guomao, I will definitely consider this place as my first choice.Show more
